INTRODUCTION
Barclays Wearable Banking UX unfolds as Project ‘Swift’ takes a monumental step forward. As one of the first UK banks to embrace wearable technology, Barclays aimed to seamlessly blend banking services with devices like the iWatch. This initiative represented a significant innovation in wearable banking, integrating core functionalities to enhance user accessibility and convenience.

Barclays recognized the need to lead in offering core banking services on wearables, necessitating functionalities such as finding ATMs, bank locations, mobile payments, and account details integrated into current banking applications..

OBJECTIVE
The mission was to deliver four wearable integrations within existing banking applications, ensuring MVP and Pilots were completed within months and released before the year-end alongside the launch of Apple’s iWatch.

The iterative process involved continuous feedback loops, adapting and enhancing functionalities based on the feedback received during the testing phase.
